We encourage you to research the various advisory boards and their meeting schedules to determine what time commitment is involved for board members. Advisory board meeting schedules vary and are open to the public. Attending one of the meetings may assist you in learning more about an advisory board's function.

Interested individuals should obtain and submit an application to the County Manager's Office for consideration by the Board of Commissioners. Typically, applications are submitted to the Board during the first commission meeting in the month and must be received by the Clerk to the Board by 5pm the second Friday prior to the meeting. After the Commission meeting all applicants are notified of the Board's decision.
