Dan Nicholas Park has 17 covered shelters available for rent. Eleven shelters will accommodate 150 people and six will accommodate 30 people. They are equipped with picnic tables and grills. There is a charge for shelter and picnic tables on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Dan Nicholas does not charge for visiting! We have many features of the park that are free. Other areas of the park can be visited for very small charges.
Dan Nicholas Park was created originally with a gift in 1968 of 330 acres of land from Mr, Dan Nicholas, a local entrepeneur and philanthropist.
