Yadkin River and the Trading Ford - South River Bridge

The South River Bridge at the Rowan Davie County line was built to replace the ferry.  In the background is the Lindsay-Foard Grist Mill.  The people on the bridge were P. B. Beard, P. A. Hartman, and C. G. Bailey, the Bridge Committee.  Cicero M. Miller was the engineer.  The photograph was taken circa 1915 from the Davie County side of the river.
