ELIGIBILITY AND COST
Eligibility for most services of the Department require that a person be at least 60 years of age and older.
The exceptions are as follows:
For the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Program the eligibility begins at 55 years of age.
The Family Caregiver Support Program has several categories of eligibility. Senior Services can help:
Any unpaid adult who takes care of a person over the age of 60
Any unpaid adult who takes care of someone of any age who has a diagnosis of dementia
Any adult over the age of 55 who is raising a child under 19 in place of the parents. The adult must be related by blood or step relationship

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS
Individuals are not charged for the services of the department but everyone is encouraged and given the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution. These funds are then used to expand services to help additional people. No one is denied services if they are unable to contribute towards the cost.
