On Friday 10/17/2008, two white / males operating vehicle described above came to an elderly victim's residence and posed as utility workers. One suspect spoke to the victim and second suspect entered the victim's home and stole money from purse. The suspects & others have been involved in other similiar type crimes in the past and known by SLED and local LEO in the South Carolina area. The scam used is known as "Irish Traveler's Scam" where the suspects work in pairs, usually switching vehicles after the crime. Both suspects were wearing orange traffic vests and posed as power company employees.
