K-9 Teams - The Rowan County Sheriff's Office currently has 7 working K-9 Teams. Their responsibilities include assisting with court house security, traffic interdiction, narcotics detection and community programs. The canines are also used to track wanted and missing persons. They are a valuable resource for the Sheriff's Office and the citizens of Rowan County. The teams are supervised by Lt. N. Goodman. Meet the Teams:
