In 2012 the plans for a new 911 center were put into motion.  With this project will come to consolidation with the Salisbury Police Department.   As of July 1 2013 the county became responsible for the dispatch service for the Salisbury Police Department.  At this time their dispatch center remains in the Salisbury PD.  Staff is scheduled to began moving into the new 911 center in mid September 2013.  Once the current county staff is moved, it will be a couple more months until the Salisbury PD dispatch is moved to the new location. This is due to additional radio equipment that is scheduled to be in place later this year.

Our (NEW) communications center is located at 1090 Corporate Center Dr in Salisbury, NC.
