The County is governed by a Board of Commissioners that continually strives to improve services offered to local residents. Code of Ordinances Commission Departments

The provisions in the following chapters and sections shall constitute and be designated as the "Rowan County Code of Ordinances" and may be so cited. The Rowan County Board of Commissioners consists of five (5) members who are elected at large in countywide elections to serve four-year staggered terms.
