Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in helping with a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. At this time, we are happy to have help in several areas including:

  1. Runners -  take forms from those getting vaccinated into the data team for data entry.
  2. Vaccine Reaction Monitors - monitor patients after they have received their vaccine and then give them the OK to drive after 15 minutes, or connect with Emergency Services if there is an issue.
  3. Traffic Control - help manage and monitor traffic flow; help move cars to the areas they need to go.
  4. Form Checkers - review vaccination forms to make sure everything is written legibly and completely filled out.
  5. Spanish Interpreters - help anyone who may have a language barrier to ensure that they receive all of the information they need.

Clinic Schedule

COVID19 vaccination clinics currently are held on Wednesdays and Thursday at West End plaza. Volunteers will receive information for when to arrive for a briefing and explanation of your position called a "Just in Time" training.

Requirements

Volunteers do not need a negative COVID-19 test; however, we do expect for you to wear your mask during your volunteer shift. We will provide a mask and gloves if you do not have them. 

Volunteers will have the opportunity to be vaccinated if you are put into a position that connects you with clients. Please know that we have an extremely limited supply, so you may have to wait to get vaccinated.

Staff will review and contact selected applicants for orientation. Volunteers must complete the same vetting process as employee new hires. This will include criminal background check and driving record check.
