Dan Nicholas Park
Dan Nicholas Park does not charge for visiting! We have many features of the park that are free. Other areas of the park can be visited for very small charges.

Animals are allowed in the park but are NOT allowed on attractions.
Picnic Shelters
Dan Nicholas Park has 17 covered shelters available for rent. Eleven shelters will accommodate 150 people and six will accommodate 30 people. They are equipped with picnic tables and grills. There is a charge for shelter and picnic tables on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
History
Dan Nicholas Park was created originally with a gift in 1968 of 330 acres of land from Mr. Dan Nicholas, a local entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Rowan Wildlife Adventures, Nature Center, and Barn closed on Mondays.
Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Weekends 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Train, Carousel, Golf, Gem Mine, and Paddle Boats closed until further notice.
Splash Pad closed for the season, will reopen May 25th.
