2018 Rowan County Community Health Needs Assessment
During the past year, Rowan County Public Health Department, Healthy Rowan, Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and Rowan County United Way joined together to assess and analyze the health and well-being of our community. UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health provided their expertise and support to lead the assessment and reporting process. From the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) will come the development of Community Health Action Plans. The health department's focus for these plans will be on the areas of Substance Use (including Mental Health), and Healthy Lifestyles.
