The Alice Stanback Monument Forest provides a lovely garden setting where living monuments in the form of trees and flower beds allow patrons to honor a loved one.
The Crawdad Trail is another park trail roughly a half mile long along the banks of Fred's Pond and a small stream, complete with a covered bridge.
Don's Gazebo offers an outdoor setting for weddings and concerts.
- The Henry W Culp, Jr. Famous and Historic Tree Trail provides a half mile journey through our nations past.
- The Sloan Nature Trail is about a half mile walk through some of the forested area of the park and offers a pleasant walk among some magnificent hardwoods. There is a loop segment off this trail that leads the hiker higher on a back ridge and a short connector that leads to the restrooms.
