Summer Reading National Teen Lock-in Information

Complete the National Teen Lock-in Permission Form to attend the Teen Lock-In on Friday, July 28th 6:30pm - 10:30pm at Headquarters Branch in Salisbury, NC.

Read below to learn more about the authors that will be featured during the Lock-In.

Jenny Torres Sanchez is a full-time writer and former English teacher. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, but has lived on the border of two worlds her whole life. She lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband and children.

Jenny is the author of three YA books: Because of the Sun (2017), Death, Dickinson, and the Demented Life of Frenchie Garcia (2013), and The Downside of Being Charlie (2012). You can find more information about Jenny at www.jennytorressanchez.com or by visiting her Twitter, @jetchez.

Nathan Kotecki is an accidental young adult novelist based out of Durham, North Carolina. A regular scribbler, he began telling himself a story about an unsuspecting girl who finds herself drawn into the darkly stylish world of an alternative/goth clique at her new high school - and kept on writing to find out what would happen next. The result was the first draft of THE SUBURBAN STRANGE.

Nathan is the author of The Suburban Strange (2013) and Pull Down the Night (2013). For more information, you can check out his Amazon page or Twitter account, @nathankotecki.

Ashley Poston loves dread pirates, moving castles, and starry night skies. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in English and fell in love with the Romantics. When not in search of her next great adventure, she lives with her bossy cat in rural South Carolina. They are firm believers that we’re all a bunch of weirdos looking at other weirdos, asking for their usernames. Sometimes you can catch her lurking around coffee shops where she reads copious amounts of fanfic and plays a lot of video games. Oh, and she writes books for teens.

Ashley is the author of Geekerella (2017), The Sound of Us (2013) and its sequel We Own the Night (2016), and her upcoming book, Heart of Iron. For more information, check out her website ashposton.com, her Tumblr www.ash-poston.tumblr.com, and her Twitter @ashposton.
