    The mission of the Environmental Health division is to safeguard life, promote human health and protect the environment through the practice of modern environmental health science, the use of technology, rules, public education, and, above all, dedication to the public trust.

  4. Immunizations

    Immunizations, also called vaccinations, are a series of shots given to infants and children at different ages to help keep them from developing dangerous childhood diseases.

  5. Pregnancy Care Management

    Pregnancy Care Management services are provided for pregnant Medicaid recipients who are determined to be at risk for poor birth outcomes.

  6. Smile Center Dental Clinic

    The Smile Center is a dental clinic for the children of Rowan County.

  7. Women, Infants & Children Program

    WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children funded by the United States Department of Agriculture.
