    This RPL-staffed program is designed for children ages 10 and under. Weekly, in-person storytimes begin at 10:30 am and last approximately 30 minutes. Storytimes will be held outside; in the case of inclement weather, programs will move inside. A responsible caretaker (16+) must accompany children 8 and under. Children.

    ecoExplore presents this week's School Age Summer Reading program with details TBA. South's 10:30 a.m. Tuesday program will be live and outdoors; the other programs will be virtual. EcoEXPLORE (Experiences Promoting Learning outdoors for Research and Education) is an incentive-based citizen science program for children in grades K-8. Developed by the North Carolina Arboretum, this innovative program combines science exploration with kid-friendly technology to foster a fun learning environment for children while encouraging them to explore the outdoors and participate in citizen science. Citizen science encourages volunteers of any age to collect and submit scientific information to real life scientists, which will assist in their research and data. RPL South (China Grove) serves as an ecoEXPLORE Hotspot, which encourages participants to find wildlife species, including plants, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and birds.     The monthly Planning Board meeting starts at 7:00 PM on the fourth Monday of every month. The meeting takes place at 130 W Innes St. Salisbury, NC 28144. The case files for the meeting can be found on the Planning Board webpage located in the side bar. Cass file are added within ten days of the meeting.
