Create holiday cards that will be delivered to active service members in the United States Armed Forces and to veterans at the Hefner VAMC in Salisbury. Patrons can specify if their card(s) is delivered to a certain branch of the USAF or to the VA. However, cards submitted for a branch of the USAF do have specific deadlines: November 4 for cards distributed internationally, December 2 for cards distributed Stateside. Come Gather ‘Round Good People is a quarterly podcast dedicated to informing listeners about the stories behind featured folk songs with a local, regional, or state-wide connection. Episode 4 will include an in-depth interview with a local musician. The podcast will discuss the first traditional song they learned, why it is meaningful, and why they continue to play it today.
