Family: Bright Star Virtual Theatre presents George Washington Carver & Friends

Online. Learn about Black History heroes who laid the groundwork for some amazing discoveries in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Hosted by the incredible scientist, George Washington Carver, a man who invented thousands of uses for the lowly peanut, this show introduces viewers to other incredible scientists, entrepreneurs, and groundbreakers from Black History. Meet Madame CJ Walker, Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and more! This free, family-friendly virtual program is suitable for ages Pre-K and up. The performance link will be shared via Rowan Public Library’s Facebook and Twitter platforms beginning Feb. 10 at Noon. Watch when it suits you via the device of your choice and enjoy this new program by Bright Star! Family. Children.
