Make an Appointment This Morning for a First Dose Vaccine
Appointment slots will be available beginning at 10 AM this morning on the County’s First Dose Clinics webpage, for this coming Thursday, February 4th. Citizens may also call the COVID hotline at 980-432-1800 and push 1 when prompted; but due to anticipated increased call volume, wait times may be much longer than normal. Therefore, you should make all attempts to schedule online. Citizens without access to computers or internet may wish to visit their nearest Rowan Public Library location to utilize the free public Wi-Fi and computers. Please note that emails cannot be accepted as a way to schedule an appointment, so staff will be unable to help you and will have to redirect you to the webpage.
Please know that the Rowan County Health Department would like to be able to allow our citizens to schedule appointments further in advance; but due to limited vaccination supplies from the state, we are not able to do this at this time. With that said you may wish to reach out to your primary care provider for a referral to Novant Health’s vaccination clinic effort, or log into your MyChart account at https://www.novantmychart.org/mychart/Authentication/Login? to try and make an appointment.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work toward our number one priority of ensuring that all Rowan County citizens that want a vaccine can receive it, while also balancing vaccine supply and abiding by the phased approach provided to us by NCDHHS.
