Make an Appointment for a First Dose Vaccine for Monday, February 15th and Thursday, February 18th

Next week we will begin vaccinating school personnel and child care staff who qualify for Group 3 - Essential Workers. We are encouraging Group 1 and Group 2 individuals to seek vaccinations this week before more individuals become eligible for vaccines. 

Appointment slots are now available on the County’s First Dose Clinics webpage for first dose vaccine clinics, which will be held at the West End Plaza on Monday, February 15thAppointments will open up after 10 AM for the clinic on Thursday, February 18th. Citizens may also call the COVID hotline at 980-432-1800 and push 1 when prompted after 9 AM. We encourage you to make all attempts to schedule online.  Citizens without access to computers or internet may wish to visit their nearest Rowan Public Library location to utilize the free public Wi-Fi and computers. Additional appointments will open today at 10 AM for 

Please note that emails cannot be accepted as a way to schedule an appointment, so staff will be unable to help you and will have to redirect you to the webpage.  

Rowan County Public Health Will Host a 2nd COVID Vaccination Day on Wednesday, February 17th

Rowan County Public Health will host another  2nd Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, February 17th  at the West End Plaza (1935 Jake Alexander Blvd., West) from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

If you are due for your second vaccination this coming week, you should receive a phone call from our COVID Information Line (980-432-1800) and/or an email from the county (noreply@everbridge.net with the Subject Line:  RoCo COVID Info).  As a friendly reminder or if you do not receive any type of notification, please check the table below for the  time that you should come for your second vaccine. Please note that the recommended timeframe  is based on the first letter of your last name.
