Rowan County Public Health Vaccine Clinic Updates

Second Dose Clinic on February 24th

Rowan County Public Health is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine second dose clinic on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021. We are not currently anticipating any changes due to shipment concerns at this time. Patients eligible for this clinic received a phone call and email to sign-up for an appointment. The appointment call center will open during normal business hours on Monday to help clients make appointments and can be reached at 980-432-1800, Option 1.

First Dose Clinic on February 25th

Rowan County Public Health is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday, February 25th. This clinic was moved from Thursday, February 18th to Tuesday, February 23rd, and finally to Thursday, February 25th due to weather conditions that impacted transportation of the vaccine shipment. This clinic is booked as we were able to keep the same appointments for those who originally signed up.

First Dose Clinic on February 27th

Rowan County Public Health will host a first dose clinic on Saturday, February 27th. This will be our first clinic targeted to Group 1 (healthcare workers), Group 2 (65 and older), and now Group 3 (Early childcare staff and PreK-12 school staff).  Information about appointments will be available early next week.

Clinic Location

West End Plaza (former Salisbury Mall)
1935 Jake Alexander Boulevard, West
Salisbury, NC  28147

Traffic Flow
Please plan to enter West End Plaza from the traffic light on Statesville Boulevard (directly in front of Food Lion). Please know that Rowan County Sheriff will be at the entrance of the West End Plaza to help direct you.

Insurance Cards

Please note that the vaccine is FREE to everyone; however, we are filing insurance for administrative costs. Please remember to bring your insurance card. Regardless of whether or not you do have insurance, please know that there will be no direct cost to you.

Rowan County Public Health’s number one priority is to ensure that all Rowan County citizens that want a vaccine can receive it, while also balancing vaccine supply and abiding by the phased approach provided to us by NCDHHS.
