Rowan County Public Health Will Host a 2nd COVID Vaccination Clinic Tomorrow for Pfizer

Rowan County Public Health will host another 2nd Vaccination Clinic tomorrow at the West End Plaza (1935 Jake Alexander Blvd., West) from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This clinic is by appointment only and will be for second dose Pfizer vaccinations.

If you are currently due your second Pfizer vaccination this week, you can still make an appointment for through a PRIVATE link that was provided to you earlier in an email or by calling our COVID-19 Hotline at 980-432-1800 (Option 1). Below is an example of the message that you should have received by phone and/or email.  

Hello,

Our records indicate you are eligible to receive your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Our second dose clinic for you is scheduled on [DATE]. Please bring your COVID- 19 Vaccination Record Card and insurance card with you.

You may sign up for an appointment time at [a PRIVATE LINK is provided to you within this email] or by calling 980-432-1800 and choosing option 1 during regular business hours on Mondays and Fridays.

If there is bad weather, please refer to our vaccine website at www.rowancountync.gov/COVIDVaccine website or call 980-432-1800 option 1 for the most updated information.

You will stay 15 minutes after receiving the 2nd dose to be monitored for any reaction. If you have a reaction after leaving, please refer to the V-Safe Information Sheet.

Please make every attempt possible to attend the clinic on [this specific DATE is determined by the date of your first vaccination].

If you should have any other questions and/or concerns, please feel free to visit our county website where you will find the most current and most reliable information related to COVID-19 and Rowan County.

Thank you for your continued patience as we work toward our number one priority of ensuring that all Rowan County citizens that want a vaccine can receive one, while also balancing vaccine supply and abiding by the phased approach provided to us by NCDHHS.
