Notice is hereby given by the Rowan County Board of Commissioners, in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 160A-270(b), to offer for sale at public auction to the highest bidder. Whereas, subsection (b) and (c) allows the Board of Commissioners to sell personal property by electronic auction upon adoption of a resolution or order authorizing the appropriate official to dispose of the property at public auction;
Whereas, the Rowan County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution on Monday, June 21, 2021 that authorizes the County’s Purchasing Agent to sell by public auction the EMS Metal Building located at 11130 Statesville Boulevard (Cleveland, NC).
Metal Building. The building is 18 x 31 x 11 with two 3 foot doors and two 10 foot electric garage door.

July 12, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on July 13, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. where Rowan County Staff will be on site to assist with inspections.
Payment must be made by cash or certified funds at the time/date of auction. Certified funds must be made payable to Rowan County Government.
The County wishes to sell the building only and have the successful buyer move the house within 60 days of the completed sale. This sale is AS IS, with no warranties as to condition, habitability or environmental matters.
