Sloan Park, located in Mount Ulla, NC, is known for preserving history, from the Henry W. Culp, Jr. Historic Trail to Kerr Mill, which was constructed in 1823.  In recent years, the Country Life Museum was erected on the property by the Carolina Antique Power Association (CAPA) to offer a nostalgic view of rural life and farm equipment from years past.

While the park focuses on preserving the past, it also seeks to provide new recreational opportunities for our citizens and beyond.  In March 2019, a new 18-hole disc golf course was completed.  The course begins near the Historic Kerr Mill and eventually meeting up with the Sloan Nature Trail.  All holes are par 3 with the exception of hole 13, which is par 4.

Sloan Park hours are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. in March, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. in May, and 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. June through August.
