All community members are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Rowan County Substance Abuse Forum. We look forward to working together to combat the opioid epidemic that continues to impact our community and nation.

Keynote

This year, the forum will focus on the impact substances/opioids have on children, families, and women. Keynote speaker is Dr. Hendree Jones. Dr. Jones is the Director of the NC Horizons Program, which is a substance use disorder treatment program for pregnant and/or parenting women and their children.

Registration

There is no cost to participate and dinner is included.  To register, please visit http://bit.ly/opioidforum19. Registration is required by Friday, August 2, 2019.

Medication Take-Back Event

A Medication Take-back event, hosted by Rowan County Sheriff's Office, will take place from 3 PM to 6 PM. Bring your unused/unwanted medication to dispose of safely.
