Rowan County COVID-19 Confirmed Cases: 22

Executive Order 121 (Stay At Home Order) 

This evening at 5:00 PM North Carolina Executive Order 121 goes into effect. This Order mandates that all individuals stay at home and provides guidance on who can continue to work by classification of essential and non essential businesses. Executive Order 121 and an FAQs page regarding EO 121 are available on the county’s COVID-19 webpage under Executive Orders.

Rowan Public Library Modifies Operations

Effective Tuesday, March 31^st, Rowan Public Library operations will be limited to curbside service only. Computer labs are now closed to the public.

All three branches, Headquarters in Salisbury, East Branch in Rockwell, and South Branch in China Grove continue to offer curbside service Monday – Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.  Library facilities are closed to the public.

Rowan County Register Of Deeds Implements Changes

The Rowan County Register of Deeds is implementing the following changes:

• Thank-A-Vet Discount Card issuance is suspended for 30 days
• Passport Services are suspended for 30 days
• Notary Oath issuance is by appointment only
• Marriage License issuance is by appointment only (4PM cut-off)

• Electronic Recording
