Governor Cooper urges North Carolinians to stay at Home

Today as the first weekend of North Carolina’s Stay Home order is upon us North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper urges citizens to stay home. In a media briefing this afternoon Governor Cooper reminded everyone that “COVID-19 is still spreading quickly and that we are in a crucial time period for flattening the curve, no one is immune and currently there is no vaccine.” The Governor added that “North Carolinians have the power to help. You can stay home, if you must go out you can keep physical distance. You have the power to slow the spread.”

Rowan County Official’s echo the message from the governor and remind everyone to do their part and together we can flatten the curve.
