NC Department of Health and Human Services Releasing More Detailed Statistics
Starting this week, the NC Department of Health and Human Services will share additional information regarding outbreaks at nursing homes. The new report will include the names of facilities where there are ongoing outbreaks as well as the number of positive COVID-19 cases and deaths at the facility. This change in reporting is aimed at achieving standardized reporting in congregate living settings at both the state and county level. In addition to names of nursing homes and case count, NC Department of Health and Human Services will also share case counts associated with zip code. This information can be found at: https://www.ncdhhs.gov/.
