Business and Community Resources

The Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Commission (EDC), and Tourism are dedicated to providing support and resources for the community, our businesses, and the local economy in a manner that balances health and economic recovery.

Flatten the Curve Rowan

The Public Health Command Center continues working hard to collect, analyze, and share information important in understanding the COVID-19 situation.  This has helped community leaders develop assistance plans and has provided the public with awareness of our current condition. 

As we continue to analyze the data located on Rowan County’s Open Data Hub, there is an important recognition that should give us a positive outlook.  The number of those that have recovered has grown to 197, which is a hopeful indication.  In an effort to continue flattening the curve, and even staying ahead of the curve, it is essential that we all take precautions when away from home.  Whether working or shopping at local businesses, please remember the 3 W’s: WEAR, WAIT, and WASH!

• Wait 6 feet apart/ avoid close contact
• Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
