Weekend Project: Make a Face Mask for Family Members

Face masks are the best protection we have to slow the spread of the Corona Virus.  North Carolina and Rowan County are experiencing increasing numbers for those infected with COVID-19. 

While the state’s positive case count is 459 per 100,000 people, Rowan County surpasses this at 672 per 100,000.  These disease transmissions are the result of community spread at weekend celebrations, family events, or other gatherings.

Wearing a mask is the simplest and most effective way to protect yourself and others.  Why not make your own?  It doesn’t take much time and is really very easy to do.
