Creek Week is a week-long celebration of local waters throughout North Carolina. The Second Annual Rowan Creek Week takes place August 22-29, 2020.  In conjunction with multiple environmental organizations, municipal departments, and local business partners, Creek Week offers opportunities to allow everyone to enjoy and contribute to healthy waters in our area. 

Take part in our virtual or at-home programs like the Photo Scavenger Hunt and Flat Storm E. (PDF), or participate in clean-ups, presentations, or a drive-thru Medicine Take-Back Event (PDF) where you can get a free face covering in exchange for outdated or unused medications.
