[ARCHIVED] October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cybersecurity Awareness Month logo

October is National Cybersecurity Month (NCSAM), a time to raise awareness about security practices and ways we can make the world a safer place.  The overarching theme for Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2020 is “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.” The theme empowers individuals and organizations to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace, with a particular emphasis on the key message for 2020: “If you connect it, protect it.”  Rowan County is a proud NCSAM champion, and we will be launching a social media campaign during the month of October to help share tips with our citizens and staff.
