At the beginning of October, the Rowan County Board of Commissioners held the first public hearing with intent to submit a grant package application to NC Commerce for Rowan County on behalf of agencies that would like to utilize CDBG-CV funds for new or expanded projects and programs that have impact to Low-Moderate Income (LMI) individuals within Rowan County as it relates the prevention, response or preparation for COVID-19.
As Rowan County can only submit one package application at maximum of request of $900,000, we have created an application process that will be reviewed by County Staff and then presented for Board approval planned for the December 7th Commissioners meeting. We know there has been high interest in this program, and we look forward to your application responses. Rowan County will bundle one or more program submissions with the assistance of our contracted grant preparation firm to NC Commerce shortly thereafter.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed ONLY from those submitted through the online application process available at: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/8bHxBctgha7/8f76432-5fa16f5f99d7e
This form will be closed on Monday, November 23rd at 5 p.m.
This form has been reviewed and tested, and we would recommend the following actions:
