A tested, safe and effective vaccine will be available to all who want it, but supplies will be limited at first. Rowan County continues to follow the phased approach with guidelines provided by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Independent state and federal public health advisory groups have determined that the best way to fight COVID-19 is to start first with vaccinations for those most at-risk, then reach more people as the vaccine supply increases throughout 2021. Rest assured: you have a spot to take your shot. As phases open up, information will be shared through press releases, on the county website, on verified social media pages, and with local media.

Remember we will never get ahead of this pandemic if everyone does not do their part to stop the transmission of this virus. Be a responsible citizen by practicing the 3Ws and avoiding the 3Cs!
