1. What is the fee to enter the park?

Admission to all Rowan County Parks is free; however, there are charges for attractions and fishing (where applicable).

2. Do all shelters have grills at Dan Nicholas?

All shelters have a charcoal grill available for your use.

3. Can we bring our own boat to Dan Nicholas Lake?

No boats except the provided paddle boats are allowed in the lake.

4. Can you swim in Dan Nicholas Lake?

No swimming is allowed in the lake.

5. Are dogs allowed in the park?

Leashes are required for all pets not performing a task for an individual with a disability. 

6. Must I have a N.C. fishing licence to fish at Dan Nicholas?

All fisherman must have a current N.C. fishing license to fish at Dan Nicholas Park.

7. Are credit cards accepted at Dan Nicholas Park?
