1. What is the fee to enter the park?

Admission to all Rowan County Parks is free.

2. Do you give group discounts for attractions at Dan Nicholas?

You are able to purchase a blue or red ticket at the concession stand for a discounted rate on attractions.

3. Do all shelters have grills at Dan Nicholas?

All shelters have a charcoal grill available for your use.

4. Can we bring our own boat to Dan Nicholas Lake?

No boats except the provided paddle boats are allowed in the lake.

5. Can you swim in Dan Nicholas Lake?

No swimming is allowed in the lake.

6. Are dogs allowed in the park?

Dogs are allowed on hand held leashes. Dogs are not allowed on attractions.

7. Must I have a N.C. fishing licence to fish at Dan Nicholas?

All fisherman must have a current N.C. fishing license to fish at Dan Nicholas Park.

8. Are credit cards accepted at Dan Nicholas Park?
