The raffle winner will be announced during the Children and Adult Summer Reading Finale on Wednesday, August 3. Tell us a tale as big as a whale! Submit a short story that shows magic of possibility. Eligible entries must be original works of prose, not poetry, and must not exceed 5,000 words. Limit one submission per author, in PDF format to email@example.com. This contest is limited to writers ages 18+. Include a cover page with the author’s name and contact information. Do not include the author’s name on the actual story as the judging will be completed blindly by library staff.
Winner will be notified August 2 via their provided contact information. The winning entry will receive an award certificate and a gift basket and announced on the Children’s and Adult Summer Reading Finale Video, set to release on August 3. Adults.
