Fully Accessible Playground Installed in July 2018, this fully accessible playground features swings, musical instruments, slides, a merry-go-round, and more.
Therapeutic Recreation Division The Therapeutic Recreation Division for Rowan County Parks and Recreation is housed at Ellis Park. This division was created in 1979 to ensure the availability of recreation programs for individuals with disabilities. Programs offered through Therapeutic Recreation have an emphasis on socialization, inclusion, and development of recreation and leisure skills that carry over to the home and community.
Salisbury/Rowan Senior Games & SilverArts The Senior Games and SilverArts division for Rowan County Parks and Recreation is housed at Ellis Park. This division creates a year-round health promotion and education program for adults of Rowan County aged 50 years or better.
Rentals Ellis Park offers picnic shelter, sports field, equestrian arena, and dining room rentals. Expand the sub-facilities menus to learn about amenities and pricing. There is a charge of $50.00 for lining the ball fields.
