County Manager Aaron Church lives in Rockwell, NC with his wife Erica and two children Mary and Finley. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Public Administration for Appalachian State University.

Aaron has served the public as a Congressional Aide in the United States House of Representatives, Assistant to the County Manager, Deputy County Manager and County Manager.

Aaron holds a certificate in County Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Emerging Leaders Certificate from the International City / County Managers Association.
