County Manager Aaron Church lives in Granite Quarry, NC with his wife Erica and children. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Public Administration from Appalachian State University.

Aaron has over 19 years government experience serving as a Congressional Aide in the United States House of Representatives, Assistant to the County Manager, Deputy County Manager, and County Manager.

Aaron is a Credentialed Manager with the International City and County Managers Association (ICMA) and holds a certificate in County Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. In addition, he earned certificates from studies at Harvard Kennedy School, Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, and the University of Notre Dame.
