With a donation from Friends of the Mountain and a Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Grant and the generosity of The Land Trust For Central North Carolina, this property is the newest Rowan County Park. It was officially dedicated and opened to the public on November 29, 2006. It includes 83 acres of land protected under a Conservation Easement with the Land Trust for Central North Carolina.
Transportation to the top of mountain is available Saturday and Sunday only during operating hours. Hours vary by month/season.
