Burial
There is a burial allowance of up to $2,000 for a veteran who dies from a service connected disability.

Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) is for surviving spouses, dependent children, and low income parents of service members, who die while on active duty, or if a service connected disability caused/contributed to the death.

The Montgomery GI Bill is an educational program that can be used by active duty military or veterans.

Health Care Enrollment
To get enrolled into the VA health care system, veterans must complete the 10-10EZ form, which is the application form for Health Benefits.

Home Loan
The VA does not directly give loans to veterans and service members. Instead, the VA guaranties a percentage of the loan, which allows veterans, service members, reservist, and unmarried surviving spouses to find competitive interest rates, usually without a down payment.

Life Insurance
