Plans Review Process

Plan review is the process of reviewing your project for compliance with the minimum standards as described in the technical codes (Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Codes).  Plan review is a prerequisite for permit issuance.  Once plans are submitted we try our best to complete the review in seven business days.  We also offer an expedited review procedure for time sensitive projects.

Projects That Require Plan Review

All Commercial Projects require plans to be approved prior to issuing permits.  This applies to new construction, upfits, renovations, alterations, and repairs.  See our Commercial Plan Review Checklist (PDF) for the minimum drawings required for plan review submittal.
