Facts

• Byron Wisecarver (Victim), 26 years of age
• Lived at 3725 Sherills Ford Road, Salisbury NC
• Worked first shift at Celanese on Highway 70 in Salisbury
• On Friday October 23, 1992, at about 5:30 a.m. Mr. Wisecarver went outside to start his truck as he prepared to go to work
• As Wisecarver was outside he encountered a suspect and was shot twice at close range
• Wisecarver was transported by ambulance to the Hospital and soon after died from his injuries
• Witnesses reported that a motorcycle was heard leaving the crime scene at a high rate of speed
