Outdoor Environmental Club

Club meetings are the 2nd and 4th Fridays at 10 a.m.

If your child is interested in learning how to identify animals by their skulls, trees by their leaves, or just generally love spending time outdoors with new friends, then they may be interested in joining this club of outdoor enthusiasts!

Rowan Soil and Water Conservation District is offering this opportunity free for any second through eighth grade Rowan County student. Through hands-on exploration and outdoor excursions we will learn about wildlife management, forestry practices, fish and water quality, and much more. Come be a part of the club or test your naturalist skills by joining the Envirothon Team. Students must be in fifth through twelfth grade to be on the Envirothon Team.

This is a free club, but parents must register their child. Locations change based on topic and weather conditions. If your child is registered we can notify you of any changes or cancellations. Contact Kelli Isenhour to register.
