Board Members & Meetings

The Rowan Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is comprised of a board of five supervisors, two are appointed by the North Carolina Soil and Water Conservation Commission, and three are elected through the local county election.

Meetings

Board meetings are open to the public and are typically held on the third Thursday of each month. The Rowan Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors meet in the Agricultural Center located in the Rowan Community Center, 1959 Jake Alexander Blvd., Suite 1300, Salisbury, NC 28147. The Community Center closes at 5 pm. If you plan on attending the meeting, please contact us so we may let you in for our 6 pm meeting. Any changes to the regular meeting schedule are posted here and outside of the Rowan SWCD office.

Please note, the next board meeting will be on February 19, 2026 at 6 pm.
