About Us Our department is comprised 9-1-1 , Emergency Medical (EMS ) , Fire , and Emergency Management Divisions. In addition, we coordinate emergency activities with the Rowan County Rescue Squad as well as other public or private allied agencies providing emergency services within the county.
Our Mission To provide comprehensive services for the common good through effective community preparedness and management of adverse events.
